The Graduate Ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at the John M. and Gertrude E. Petersen Events Center, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony was for candidates of master's, professional doctoral, and doctoral degrees.
Students who graduate during the 2019-20 academic year generally are permitted to participate in the ceremony. This includes students who completed their coursework in August or December 2019 and April 2020. Graduation is not an automatic process! The Registrar’s Office can answer many of your questions about receiving a diploma. Specific questions regarding academic eligibility, application for graduation, or academic requirements should be directed to your academic advisor or your dean’s office.
In addition to the University-wide commencement ceremony, a number of schools will have special events for their graduates. These individual school ceremonies and events take place throughout Graduation Week.
