Invitation & Ceremony Registration

Invitation Information

  • All eligible candidates graduating between January 2025 and April 2025 will receive an invitation for the university-wide ceremony in February.
  • Invitations will be sent by the Office of Special Events (commencement@pitt.edu) to the candidate's PITT email address. You may search for the subject line: You're Invited! Spring Commencement Ceremony. Be sure to check your junk and spam folders as well.

RSVP Details

  • The invitation includes an RSVP link. Candidates can select "Not Attending" within the registration application if they choose not to attend.
  • The deadline to register for the university-wide ceremony is Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 6 p.m. Responses received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • A confirmation email will be automatically sent upon successful registration.

Name Pronunciation

  • Candidates are required to record their name pronunciation via NameCoach.
  • A link and instructions on how to record your name will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
